We collect the information needed to operate this publication. This policy describes the application as configured initially; operators must update it when adding services.
Reader information
Newsletter registration stores your email address, subscription status, a private management token, and signup date. Contact messages store your email, subject, message, and submission date. Do not include sensitive personal information in messages.
Reading analytics
Article pageviews record the article, date, and referring hostname. We do not store full referring URLs, use advertising cookies, or assign persistent reader identifiers. Temporary request limits can use hashed network identifiers; expired limit records are cleared by the worker.
Administration and external services
Administrators receive an HTTP-only session cookie with an eight-hour expiry. In live mode, evidence and article drafts are processed by the configured AI service. Instagram content is sent to Meta only when official publishing is enabled. S3 storage is used only when configured.
Your choices
Use the private token provided on initial signup to unsubscribe on the reader page. Contact the publication to request deletion of stored information. The operator is responsible for access requests, retention decisions, backups, and applicable privacy obligations.
